Warning - Caution Fake and hacked accounts on online platforms
The following clues speak strongly for a fake provider or an offer on a hacked account, so pay attention to the following aspects before purchase:
- The price of the item is unusually low or much lower than usual
- The seller offers an exceptionally wide range that does not appear to be consistent
(even with hacked accounts)
- The storefront (shop window) of these vendors are quite identical
- The seller is marked as a "new dealer" and has no or very few, reviews
- The seller encourages to communicate at some stage outside the Amazon platform
- The seller does not list any company information (new sellers)
- The seller would like to settle the payment via a platform other than Amazon
